The program is designed in two parts which can be taken consecutively or apart.

Part 1 teaches you how to use yoga to connection to your True Nature – easy, peace, bliss and harmony. As you can cultivate this in yourself you begin to find more easy peace bliss and harmony in your own life making it easy to share with others. We start with your physical yoga practice. The OM Practice is  a foundational yoga asana practice that allows you learn the language of YOUR body. Every body is different so it is important to develop a relationship with your own body. In understanding the language of your body you are able to choose better alignment, build functional strength and flexibility and have freedom in the body and mind. During part one of the training you are introduced to yogic tools of self reflection – mantra, meditation and yogic philosophy.

Part 2 you begin to practice using your voice and sharing what you have learned through part 1 of the training. We will use teaching a yoga asana class as a platform for coaching, feedback, and practice so that you can gain more confidence and easy is speaking about yoga and your own life experience. You will find that this training allows you to be more comfortable in your own beingness in all settings – work, family, relationship. You become more comfortable in allowing your own Light and Love shine through in all aspects of your life.

Both parts must be finished with in two years of start date to qualify for completion of the program.

The OM Practice is a consistent practice intended to be done on a regular basis with the intention of cultivating discernment and connection. It is designed to help you move with and enjoy the natural flow of life. This is a foundational practice that is intended to support you through all phases of life. The practice can be modified to meet your needs each day, yet the basic sequence of asana stays the same.

I highly recommend this studio. The instructor will adjust your alignment so that you’re doing the poses correctly and this makes a huge difference in the practice.

During both parts, you will finish the week with a deep understanding of a yogic practice and be able to use your voice and share what you have learned. There are several required readings and three book reports required.
